Curvy Moon Phases - Foiled Moon Phase Bookmarks | Laminated Handmade Bookmark

Foiled bookmarks go through 2 printing phases, 3 cutting phases, and 3 lamination phases which leaves a lot of room to mess these handmade bookmarks up. First the colored backgrounds are printed on a high quality inkjet printer. Then all the printed pages are loaded in a laser printer to print the designs out that will be foiled. After that, I cut each bookmark out the first time. Then I cut the foil to measure the same size as the bookmark. The foil is placed on top and I run these through the laminator. Then I can peel the foil off and it stays attached to the laser printing. I then stick them in a laminator pouch, run them through the laminator and cut them out again. After the are cut out, I run them through the laminator one last time to make sure all the edges of the laminator are sealed. You could do this at home, but I will say, it takes a lot of supplies and patient. I am happy to make these though because they turn out so pretty!
